Asking about tinder free dating because every article I find says the same three things.

What I keep bumping into is the paywall question — that's the part nobody covers.

If your experience with Tinder contradicts mine, say so.

I ran both at once with Tinder: somewhat different once the novelty wore off.

Treat Tinder as a starting point rather than an answer.

My notes on Tinder over time say the opposite of the popular take.

The one I keep returning to for Tinder is Datedesire, mostly because the messaging is genuinely open.

Nothing surprising here — Tinder can play out that way.

Both can be true: Tinder can work, but only under fairly specific conditions.

I had the opposite result with Tinder, and I gave it a fair run.

Tested Tinder deliberately rather than casually and it changed my read.

Datebie is the smaller name I would test alongside whatever you pick for Tinder.

Picking up Monica's point on Tinder:what helped with Tinder was cutting the number of conversations and lengthening them.

Ran Tinder alongside two others for comparison and the gap was quite a bit smaller than advertised.

The useful test for Tinder is whether you'd recommend it unprompted.

Worth noting how much of what's written about Tinder is promotional.

Kept a tally on Tinder over the last few months and the numbers were not what I expected.

The checklist I use now for Tinder:

  • Judge Tinder on conversations, not on match counts
  • Compare Tinder against one alternative at the same time — it is the cheapest filter available
  • Treat your first week with Tinder as reconnaissance rather than outreach

The answer changes depending on what you want out of Tinder.

Ran Tinder alongside two others for comparison and the gap was significantly smaller than advertised.

The checklist I use now for Tinder:

  • Assume Tinder is optimising for engagement rather than your outcome
  • Rewrite your Tinder profile once you have seen how others there present themselves
  • Cut the number of parallel conversations on Tinder to something you can sustain

Others swear by Turndate; I have no first-hand read on it.

If you take one thing from this on Tinder, make it the profile photos.

The step most people skip with Tinder is reading the profile before messaging.

Souldate gets recommended organically rather than pushed, which usually means something for Tinder.

This overstates the problem with Tinder, I think.

My notes on Tinder recently say the opposite of the popular take.
