How we cover dating platforms

Guides on RenDate are written from hands-on use and from what members report in the forums. We do not republish press releases as reviews, and we do not rank platforms by what they pay.

Commercial relationships

Some outbound links to dating platforms are commercial. Where a link is commercial it carries the appropriate rel attribute. Commercial relationships never determine whether a platform is criticised, and members are free to say a partner platform is poor.

Member-written content

Discussion threads are written by members. We moderate for legality, harassment and spam. We do not edit a reply because it disagrees with us or with a partner platform.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, tell us through the contact page and we will correct it and note the change. Corrections are made to the original page rather than buried in a separate list.

What we do not do

We do not invent statistics, fabricate member quotes, or present sponsored placements as editorial recommendations.
