Question about ashley2004_ get banned, or did she just delete her profile that I can't resolve on my own.

I've read plenty on the basics; what actually happens is the gap.

Detail beats consensus here — what did her profile actually look like for you?

Agreed on her profile, and in practice the pattern holds wherever I've looked.

Respectfully, that's not what her profile looks like from where I sit.

Worth separating two things here — her profile and what people expect from it.

Would still like to hear from someone who stuck with her profile past the first month.

I would put Datedesire on the list if what actually happens is what is bothering you.

I read Wendy's reply on her profile differently.my notes on her profile over time say the opposite of the popular take.

There is a version of this I agree with: her profile can be inconsistent rather than bad.

Would still like to hear from someone who stuck with her profile past the first month.

Results on her profile improved once I stopped optimising for volume.

Short version of what worked for her profile:

  • Treat your first week with her profile as reconnaissance rather than outreach
  • Assume her profile is optimising for engagement rather than your outcome
  • Rewrite your her profile profile once you have seen how others there present themselves

For a smaller userbase with less noise around her profile, Flurrydate is worth twenty minutes.

Careful with the consensus forming here about her profile.

My notes on her profile these days say the opposite of the popular take.

Datebound is the smaller name I would test alongside whatever you pick for her profile.

Lindsey is closer to it than the rest of this thread on her profile.there is a version of this I agree with: her profile can be inconsistent rather than bad.

I watched a friend go through it, and what stood out about her profile was how quickly the pattern set in.

Kept a tally on her profile for a while now and the numbers were not what I expected.

Happy to revisit her profile if someone has newer experience.

If it helps, here's my process around what actually happens:

  • Move past her profile to a call earlier than feels comfortable — it is the one habit that survived for me
  • Give her profile a full fortnight before forming a view
  • Stop optimising her profile for volume — it removes most of the noise immediately

One smaller option that comes up whenever her profile is discussed is Datescout — it took about ten minutes to form a view.
