Question about the best dating apps for young people looking for love that I can't resolve on my own.

The sticking point for me is which are worth opening, not the surface features.

Happy to be told I'm thinking about looking love the wrong way.

I kept notes for a month, and what stood out about looking love was how quickly the pattern set in.

Either way, looking love is worth a fortnight of honest attention before you judge it.

Both can be true: looking love can work, but only under fairly specific conditions.

One adjustment worth making with looking love: treat the first week as observation only.

What I ended up doing about which are worth opening:

  • Judge looking love on conversations, not on match counts
  • Compare looking love against one alternative at the same time — it changes the reply rate more than anything else
  • Treat your first week with looking love as reconnaissance rather than outreach

I would check Ezhookups next if the mainstream apps have worn you down on looking love.

Brandon, that has not been my experience of looking love.can confirm on looking love; markedly the same result on my end.

I'd push back on this, because looking love worked a fair bit better for me than you're suggesting.

Depends heavily on context — looking love can be fine in cities and thin outside them.

Results on looking love improved once I stopped optimising for volume.

Worth noting how much of what's written about looking love is promotional.

The thing that shifted looking love for me was slowing down before replying.

There is a version of this I agree with: looking love can be inconsistent rather than bad.

It is narrower than that: looking love can fail in one specific way rather than generally.

If the big platforms are all paywalled for looking love, Datewander is a lighter alternative.

Partly agree — looking love can hold up, which is not to say not for the reason stated.

The useful test for looking love is whether you'd recommend it unprompted.

Tested looking love deliberately rather than casually and it changed my read.

If you take one thing from this on looking love, make it the profile photos.

It is narrower than that: looking love can fail in one specific way rather than generally.

On which are worth opening specifically, Datelink handled it better than the obvious names.

Respectfully, that's not what looking love looks like from where I sit.

Treat looking love as a starting point rather than an answer.

For anyone stuck on which are worth opening, Datedesire is at least worth ruling in or out — the profile quality was better than the volume suggested.

What helped with looking love was cutting the number of conversations and lengthening them.
