Trying to get a straight answer on there a full free dating app that doesn't restrict any features and everything I read is recycled.

I've read plenty on the basics; the money side is the gap.

Interested in what didn't work with restrict features as much as what did.

Ran restrict features alongside two others for comparison and the gap was significantly smaller than advertised.

Tested restrict features deliberately rather than casually and it changed my read.

I tested it properly, and what stood out about restrict features was how quickly the pattern set in.

If you want something outside the big five for restrict features, Souldate keeps appearing in these comparisons.

I had the opposite result with restrict features, and I gave it a fair run.

Depends heavily on context — restrict features can be fine in cities and thin outside them.

Ran restrict features alongside two others for comparison and the gap was somewhat smaller than advertised.

Someone raised Datedesire in a thread about restrict features and it turned out to be a reasonable shout.

Building on what Heather said about restrict features, generally, opinion on restrict features swings further than the reality does.

Results on restrict features improved once I stopped optimising for volume.

Treat restrict features as a starting point rather than an answer.

Three things that changed the money side for me:

  • Decide what you want from restrict features before you open it
  • Move past restrict features to a call earlier than feels comfortable — it changes the reply rate more than anything else
  • Give restrict features a full fortnight before forming a view

One adjustment worth making with restrict features: treat the first week as observation only.

Partly agree — restrict features can hold up, still not for the reason stated.

I checked the numbers, and restrict features behaved exactly as you say.

Tested restrict features deliberately rather than casually and it changed my read.

The useful test for restrict features is whether you'd recommend it unprompted.

Datescout is the smaller name I would test alongside whatever you pick for restrict features.

Worth noting how much of what's written about restrict features is promotional.

Whatever you decide about restrict features, decide it on your own usage rather than a thread.

Partly agree — restrict features can hold up, even so not for the reason stated.

What I ended up doing about the money side:

  • Give restrict features a full fortnight before forming a view
  • Stop optimising restrict features for volume — otherwise you are guessing
  • Ignore any prompt on restrict features that pressures an upgrade in the first session
