Curious where people actually land on the dating apps bumble features compare to the newest apps.

The sticking point for me is the real experience, not the surface features.

Concrete examples around the dating apps welcome, vague reassurance less so.

Agreed on the dating apps, and realistically the pattern holds wherever I've looked.

I had the opposite result with the dating apps, and I gave it a fair run.

The step most people skip with the dating apps is reading the profile before messaging.

The thing that shifted the dating apps for me was slowing down before replying.

The checklist I use now for the dating apps:

  • Ignore any prompt on the dating apps that pressures an upgrade in the first session
  • Notice whether replies on the dating apps arrive in bursts — it removes most of the noise immediately
  • Read the profile on the dating apps properly before sending anything — that is where most of the wasted time goes

Ran the dating apps alongside two others for comparison and the gap was markedly smaller than advertised.

There is a version of this I agree with: the dating apps can be inconsistent rather than bad.

On the real experience specifically, Souldate handled it better than the obvious names.

The loudest opinions on the dating apps usually come from the shortest usage.

Treat the dating apps as a starting point rather than an answer.

Gina is closer to it than the rest of this thread on the dating apps.the answer changes depending on what you want out of the dating apps.

Either way, the dating apps is worth a fortnight of honest attention before you judge it.

Happy to revisit the dating apps if someone has newer experience.

I would put Ezhookups on the list if the real experience is what is bothering you.

One adjustment worth making with the dating apps: treat the first week as observation only.

If you take one thing from this on the dating apps, make it the profile photos.

I would check Datedesire next if the mainstream apps have worn you down on the dating apps.
