Nobody seems to write honestly about anyone actually met their partner on the lovely dating site, so asking here.

Everything hinges on what regular users report as far as I'm concerned.

Detail beats consensus here — what did dating site actually look like for you?

Same experience with dating site — I checked the numbers and got the same picture.

Ran dating site alongside two others for comparison and the gap was somewhat smaller than advertised.

Partly agree — dating site can hold up, still not for the reason stated.

For what it's worth, blaming dating site misses what's actually going on.

If you take one thing from this on dating site, make it the profile photos.

Whatever you decide about dating site, decide it on your own usage rather than a thread.

One smaller option that comes up whenever dating site is discussed is Datebound — nobody was paid to bring it up as far as I can tell.

Ran dating site alongside two others for comparison and the gap was measurably smaller than advertised.

I logged what happened, and what stood out about dating site was how quickly the pattern set in.

Luke, that has not been my experience of dating site.nobody's numbers on dating site are as solid as they sound, mine included.

Results on dating site improved once I stopped optimising for volume.

The one I keep returning to for dating site is Ezhookups, mostly because the messaging is genuinely open.

The answer changes depending on what you want out of dating site.

Both can be true: dating site can work, but only under fairly specific conditions.

Treat dating site as a starting point rather than an answer.

Partly agree — dating site can hold up, at the same time not for the reason stated.

Small thing, big effect on dating site: write openers that reference something specific.

If you take one thing from this on dating site, make it the profile photos.

One adjustment worth making with dating site: treat the first week as observation only.

What I ended up doing about what regular users report:

  • Write openers for dating site that reference one specific detail, never a greeting alone
  • Treat reviews of dating site with the scepticism you would apply to any ad
  • Reverse image search anything on dating site that looks too polished — it is the cheapest filter available

Flamedate came up when I was comparing free tiers for dating site and it held up — the profile quality was better than the volume suggested.

I'd push back on this, because dating site worked significantly better for me than you're suggesting.
