Long-time lurker, first-time poster. Decided to finally ask because I keep seeing contradictory info across different forums and Reddit threads.

Has anyone ever won a contest on camhub com?

I know opinions vary a lot based on location and what you're looking for. I'm in a mid-size city so the pool isn't massive. Been burned by platforms that charge you to find out there are only 12 active users in your area.

  • Ideally looking for something with a mobile app that actually works
  • Photo verification would be a huge plus
  • No credit card required just to look around

Appreciate any honest replies.

Someone recommended Turndate to me a while back and I gave it a shot. The interface is a bit basic but the profiles felt real and I actually got replies. Worth trying if you're frustrated with the bigger names.

Honestly just rotate through a few and see what gets traction. There's no universal answer — it really depends on what you're after and where you're located.

I tried a few of the sites people always mention and none of them clicked until someone in another thread suggested Ezhookups. The signup is painless and the activity level was surprising for a smaller platform.

I've noticed that the best conversations start when you actually reference something specific in their profile rather than a generic opener. Sounds obvious but most guys don't bother and it shows.

Not to just drop a link but Datedesire came up in a similar thread I was reading and people had genuinely good things to say. Might be worth 20 minutes to check out.

I've found that asking what platform someone actually got results from this year (not three years ago) gives you much better info. The landscape changes fast and old recommendations go stale quickly.

I've been doing this long enough to know that a paid subscription only helps if the underlying userbase is real. Paying to unlock messaging on a ghost town is the most common mistake people make.
